Virtual Tour 4 - Surgery & Recovery Room
Return to Virtual Tour
The Animal Centre is lucky enough to have a part-time Vet and 2 part-time vet nurses.
Our vet works 3 mornings per week, and spends a lot of her time neutering. She is also responsible for examining and treating all the animals on site, as well as helping to provide cover for the Wildlife Hospital next door. It can be a very busy job, but she copes admirably.
Our Vet Nurses assist the vet while operating, blood test all the cats coming through the centre, and sort out a million and one other things every day.
Between 1st January and 30th November 2004 our vet neutered 142 dogs, 156 cats and 178 small animals. 480 animals have been micro-chipped, and 232 cats have been blood tested.
